Paesch family restaurant new location now open in the space formerly occupied by Scala
Harold Paesch and Anky Paesch-Chirino, the husband-and-wife team that owned and operated Sweet Peppers Restaurant and Bar for many years at the Caribbean Palm Village Resort (CPVR) for many years, are pleased to announce that the new location of Sweet Peppers Local Caribbean International Bar & Restaurant is open and fully operational for dinner guests on the upper level of the Paseo Herencia Mall in the space formerly occupied by the Scala restaurant.
“We’ve been so pleased with the response by both locals and tourists so far with our new location,” noted Harold and Anky. “People seem especially happy with our new ceviche bar concept.” Sweet Peppers had already made a name for itself in its previous location with its Fish Ceviche dish: Fresh shredded fish marinated in lemon and sea salt, tossed with diced onions, tomatoes and cilantro, served up on a bed of fried potato slices with tortilla chips. Based on the strong positive feedback from customers, Sweet Peppers has added four additional ceviche choices for patrons: Beef Ceviche, Shrimp Ceviche, Mediterranean Ceviche (mixed seafood with a tomato base) and a Vegetarian Ceviche. These ceviche bar offerings will be available nightly all the way through to 1:00 AM.
In its new location, Sweet Peppers also continues its tradition of special theme nights each week that both locals and tourists alike have enjoyed over the years. Every Sunday is All-You-Can-Eat Barbecue Ribs and every Friday features All-You-Can-Eat Grouper. Grouper is one of the most popular fish entrées on the island, and the grouper fillets at Sweet Peppers can be prepared several different ways, including grilled, pan-fried, or deep-fried and care complemented with three delicious dipping sauces (Mango Creole, Piña Colada, and Lemon Butter), rice or mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. But long-time Sweet Peppers fans will tell you that Wednesday is also a very fun and special evening because it is Karaoke Night when everyone sings and dances and has an all-around great time.
The new location of Sweet Peppers at Paseo Herencia Mall opens daily at 5:00 PM, and dinner reservations can be made by calling +297 586 0740 or booked online at the restaurant’s website: http://sweetpeppersaruba.restaurant.
